Ted Steed
Ted Steed is considered one of the area’s top golf instructors. He has been a golf professional for over 40 years. His experience includes years of successful tournament golf in junior, college, and local pro ranks. Steed won dozens of junior tournaments as a teenager including the Cincinnati Junior Met and the 12-13 year old age group titles in the Midwest Junior and the UGA National Junior Tournaments. He attended Rice University in Houston on a Golf Scholarship.
Ted began his career as assistant professional at The Elks Country Club in Hamilton, Ohio under legendary golfer, Denny McGonagle. Prior to Eagle Tee he also worked under Ken Gibbons at the Ken Gibbons Golf and Learning Center.
Ted’s teaching style is based on solid fundamentals tailored to a person’s needs and taking into consideration age and flexibility. Through video swing analysis, Ted can determine the correct plane for a player’s swing and correct any faults with feedback and drills.
